Challenge unlocked


09 of June . Monday 
The day which we are having our first mid term in MIA . I start nervous on the previous day . Increasing heartbeat ! Perspiring hand ! I'm so stress with my friends accompaniment . Because this is my first first time Playing accompaniment with a vocalist . I start thinking all the things might happen during my accompany .  What will happen when I play wrong notes ? Will her marks be deducted due to my mistake ?  I worried everything .  Luckily our housemates took us to a swim . For me swimming is he only way to keep away myself from stress .  Many of them feel that plays piano is one of the way to relax . I strongly disagree this statement . To me play piano will make me more stress . Because I'm majoring in piano . For us play is practice . Practice means you sit in front of the piano for hours . This is what a truly practice called . After a swim , you forget everything for a while . Dive into the water , enjoy the swim . Stress gone ! Well , 6.45am my alarm wake me up .  After everything is ready , I dashed into the office and booked a room for practice ! 0900 Exam start .  We are having our exam in the hall . Everyone have a chance to look at your performance . I'm the ninth . After all the guitar players I'm the first who start with violin . I try to keep myself calm , not so nervous . I did . At least my heartbeat not pouncing too much . Only my hand keep turning cold. For my overall performance , still boleh tahan . Not so good and not so bad . Some scales play with wrong bowing when it is slur . And errr B flat arpeggios play with wrong notes . But my sight read is quite okay . Not so many wrong notes . Play without stop, just keep going . Tempo is much more better than last time . The sight read he pick to me is quite easy also . Is a G major . Maybe I'm lucky . 


After my exam . I still need to play the accompaniment . : / Arghhhh ! So we quickily dashed upstairs and do our last practice . After a nervous , here comes another nervous . No matter how nervous am I , I still need to keep on playing and try me best to hit the correct note . After my roommates , is our turn . We start with wakkai . When the piece comes to an end it supposed to be a major chord , but I play it to a diminished chord . So the piece's ending sounds like not the ending .  Imagine a piece start with a major chord and ends with a diminished chord . OMG !  Then the most important , pieces carry most of the marks . Luckily I play without any mistake . If not I really felt sorry to my vocalist . 


Finally I can relax and at least I can have a nice sleep . After the exam , is our selfie time ! Capture here , capture there . Chichak here chichak there !

After our exam , there is a sem 6 minor pp . This is their last minor pp . After their performance , I realize too many things . The music camp I attend last year with the senior is from sem 6 . I haven't thought she is from sem 6 . Time flies And one of the senior which gave me a deep impression . She practice in the room without booking . So everytime when I saw the  the booking paper is clear , then I go and booked the room and everytime she kena halau by me . When I get to know she always "booked"  pr 4 , I try my best not to booked that room . Because I feel very paiseh always halau her from her favourite room . After their pp , I still need to practice because tomorrow is my major exam . The room almost fully booked . So no choice I have to booked her room . Once again she is halau by me . Then we have a brief conversation . She left a "JIA YOU" for me! What I love about MIA are the friendly , good , kind seniors !

12 Nov 2016 - Hao Zhuang Diploma Convocation 0630 set off from my hometown . I sleep like a log all the way to KL . Around 0845 we reached . Meet so many of my friends at carpark . Went up to the ballroom to register . The places are crowded with people , can't see my friends . I not yet settle with my gown and morterboard . Washroom packed with arts dept girls .  We are called for briefing . I met Wendy so we went up together . Found our dept and finally  saw my friends . After briefing , we are called to line up and ready to go in the hall . Everything following the schedule , speech , national antheme and finally certificate giving out ceremony . When it comes to music dept , some people behind cheering so high . My lovely juniors . Love y'all ! After giving out certificate ceremony end , next come up with MIA mixed chorous performance . This time is our turn to cheer for them . After the whole ceremony end , I immediately meet up my friends . Its like can't wait ...

First gig

September . Has been freezing my blog for a couple of month . A quick update on August which I accomplished my diploma piano recital , Singapore competition and lastly Grade 7 violin exam successfully . Last month Eugene called me asking me weather can help out with his Erhu concert and I agreed , because I used to help him in the PP before .  Same member as before , only first violin we have a new member . They fixed the rehearsal in MIA every Monday and Friday , but I told Eugene I can only make it on Friday . So our first rehearsal went not bad . I'm happy for myself because I'm able to play the whole offbeat passage . It never happen before I decided to use it with metronome . See the power of metronome . So every Friday I travel until the performance day . The day before the performance we still have one last rehearsal which everyone promise to attend but cellist do not turn up so you can image everyone faces at that time . Seventeen of May

Second day of my "sem break" . My friend bought me to a cafe that I longed very very long time ago . The reason why I love this cafe is because it is outdoor and I was attracted by its greenery and decoration . Batik almost made up most of the decoration of the cafe . The moment when we walk in , I expect the surrounding to be quite spacious but it doesn't look like what I expect . Before I know this cafe I saw it in Instagram . Here are the expectation and reality , but it doesn't disappointed me anyway . So we went to the counter and order . The boss introduce us what's on their menu today . From the conversation , we only get to know she study arts in  MIA before .  Their breakfast looks attractive . I choose so careful because breakfast used to be the first things before all my activities begin .   At the end of the day , I ordered a croissant with scramble eggs .
