16 June . A heavy long sigh escaped from my lips once the arranging class ended . This also marked the beginning of our sem break .
Finally , a break !
Since the semester 4 begin , it is no longer similar with the previous semester , especially when you come to arranging . Every week there are homework . Non - finished homework . Some more , not only arranging , but also we are throwing a concert for our project . Ladies choir stuffs . I am helping with the merchandise for the August concert . Everything dashed towards you .
Don't worry . It kills , and you'll alive .
For the past week , we were studying 20th century music . The most terrible period among the others . You don't understand the music is about , you can't recognize the music pattern but when it do , it take a few time to get it . Counterpoint over . Oral and music business done . I don't know how I go through all these but at least I am survived .
Meeting .
After exam, we are having an hour meeting bout the concert . When I entered , I could feel the stiff atmosphere in the class . Everyone is putting up a long dull face . What my opinion for this concert is , this concert is going to be terrible . Before we organised a concert , we need to have money . So we decided to have a fund raising . So what we do on fund raising was movie day . But then the fund is too little , so we have to do another . We do canteen day , sold food .
After we got our money , we have to proceed to the concert stuff , like audition , rehearsals . For audition , no one came . We just sat there 3 hour waiting for people to come , but end up one one came . The first rehearsal are terrible , until the second better . Tickets selling are terrible as well , not even up to 10 . So , personally I approached Evon to help her sell . At least , the tickets are sold up to 20 ++ . I am the stage manager for this concert . Seriously , I have no idea what to do . Luckily , with senior guidance , I learned , I pick up .
Hopefully everything goes well .
